Stamford Connects Episode 3: How to develop your child’s potential through Arts, Music and PE

1 Start 2 Complete

Welcome上海快三 to our new webinar series - Stamford Connects - for interested parents who want to know more about international schools in Singapore. We will be adding a new topic every 2 months. Do join us and connect!

In this episode, we will be giving parents insight into the benefits of developing your child’s Music, Art and Physical skills by ‘getting in early’ from age 3 to 6 years of age.  An Arts integrated curriculum taps into children’s natural desire for active learning through the use of their senses. Developing your child’s abilities in The Arts and Physical skills is linked closely with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills. Learning through Arts learning can also improve motivation, concentration, confidence, collaboration and help develop character.

This talk will be presented by four Stamford American International School specialist teachers and moderated by Michael Day, Principal of Stamford American’s Early Learning Village. Please join with them to hear about how your child can benefit from creative experiences guided by intentional teaching in the areas of arts, music and physical education.
