21-25 October, Stamford was honored to host the Mission Discovery Space and STEM program, where the brightest young minds from across the region gathered at Stamford American to work with an astronaut, renowned scientists, and NASA Leaders in the first ever Mission Discovery Program held in Singapore.

Over the course of a week, students proposed ideas for scientific experiments and presented them to various NASA Personnel. We're proud to share that Jonathan, a Grade 12 Stamford American student, was part of the winning team whose project on ‘’Effect of Microgravity on Urease Activity’’ was selected to be launched into space and carried out by Astronauts aboard the International Space Station!

Dominic Anthony "Tony" Antonelli, a NASA Astronaut veteran of two space flights, said: “It was great of Stamford to host us, this whole week is always super exciting for me, I think getting kids excited about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is really important for humanity’s future.”
